If you’re trying to place the review on the front page of google then I would suggest going that extra mile. Every product review I’ve done I’ve ranked number 1 because all the other reviews tend to be around 600 words. No meat involved with the review.
Yeah, unfortunately I have noticed with a lot of affiliate programs (not just CB) they have rules in place that make it harder when you are just starting out. This is why it’s important to have a traffic source BEFORE you sign up with many affiliate programs. That way you generally don’t have to worry about not making enough sales.
@Simon1234: This can often be one of the trickiest things – remember though that while it is preferable, not ever product you promote has to have a gravity of above 30 – so long as you have one or two with high gravity, you can add in some lower gravity related products to give your site more options. Remember though – just because there are lots of people in the niche doesn’t mean you can’t get in there – in fact if there are lots of people making money out of a niche, that means that you can likely get in and take your share of the pie too. Also with searching Clickbank, yes sometimes you can get unrelated results – best idea is to narrow your search options by category. Then it’s just a matter of reading through and research – it takes time, but it’s worth it.
What? Some bloke is charging you $15 for a 500 word article. Tell him to take a hike with the zombies. Flaming Hot PLR can rival most freelancers who charge more than they’re worth. Those oxygen thieves
I HATE CLICKBANK BECAUSE IT CHARGES VAT/ TVA/ BTW, value added tax, which is illegal! For when I purchase from the USAetc. my country does not deserve to be payed Value Added Tax. And Clickbank is the traitor who takes my money to give it to the worst enemy of the people: our governments. They all deserve hell fro their crimes against humanity!
Are you looking to earn money online as a Clickbank affiliate marketer? If so, I recommend you get started here with my favorite (and free) affiliate marketing training. It’s called Affilorama, and it focuses heavily on making money online by selling Clickbank products as an affiliate. You can also read my review of Affilorama here before signing up.
If you don’t make sales for 90 days, your account will be charged $1/day, $5/day after 180 days and $50/day after 1 year of inactivity. (The money is taken out of your affiliate earnings, though. They don’t bill you such fees if you have an account with $0 balance).
For any resolving any problems, Clickbank’s customer support can be contacted via phone, Mondays to Fridays, from 7:00AM – 6:00PM MST. Their support page also provides links where you can check your order status, get assistance with a download, or submit a refund request. You can also fill up an online form in order to get technical support. Finally, they also have an incredibly comprehensive Knowledgebase where you can learn all about Vendors, Affiliates, Account and more.
Keep in mind, eBooks will not make you rich overnight. It’s just a help guide digital tool. That’s all. If you want to buy some eBooks I think you can research online which you might get the same just as the one you’re intending to buy in Clickbank.
I liked what you said about opinions being like noses—everyone has one—and some people have a tendency to express those opinions quite often. I think Clickbank is like everything else—it is what you make of it. I think Clickbank is just the middleman, but the middleman usually seems to take a lot of abuse, don’t you think? Anyway, if the vendors delivered what they promised, I think things would be a whole lot better!
To me, a review is meant to take some of the risk out of buying a product or a service. I’m looking for someone who has put in the legwork that I’m unwilling (or unable without purchasing) to do to make an informed purchasing decision. With that in mind, there are three things that I set out to do when writing any kind of product review:
So anyway, I got tired of dealing with the bogus reviews. My very simple “trick” for finding real reviews is simply to type “forum” and then the name of the product I’m interested in learning about. It may seem simple, but it works for me a lot of the time.
I have been studying Affiliate Marketing for months to find products that will help people become entrepreneurs and in turn hoping to sell good quality products. My journey has been anything but enjoyable, after downloading over 100 free reports, watching countless webinars and videos and buying and returning multiple products I have now given up at least in the ClickBank, JV Zoo and similar areas.
As is true in any marketplace, the potential for money making is diverse and always new in a place where merchants and buyers are always coming together to negotiate and make deals happen. So as an entrepreneur it’s a … [Read more…]

Gravity: This number represents a unique calculation by ClickBank that takes into account the number of different affiliates who earned a commission by promoting this product over the past 12 weeks. Since more recent transactions are given a higher value, this number can give you an idea of what products are “hot” at the moment, in terms of being promoted by many affiliates and making a good number of sales. However, high gravity can also indicate that there will be a lot of competition in promoting this product.
While it’s nice to get a big commission up front when making a sale, think about the longer term value of a customer as well. Many vendors offer recurring commissions, and if they have a good customer retention rate, you can earn significantly more over the life of a customer than you would with only a single sale.
Many people also buy themselves a copy through their own affiliate link. The online consensus seems to be that Clickbank is OK with this, but if you are going to do that, I’d double check with a Clickbank representative. (If you do that, please leave a comment with the response you received.) I’m interested, but I don’t have an official response to share at the moment. Maybe I’ll send an email after I post this.
A month later, I logged in to see that Clickbank had been charging me a $1 dormant account fee “per pay period” – which, lucky for them, happens to be every single week. When I tried to contact customer support and pressed “2” for affiliate accounts (in the middle of the day, in the middle of the work week), I got “Affiliate Support is not currently available.” AKA – “please spend 30 minutes gathering data to write us an email instead of five minutes talking to a live person.”
Besides you sending us very good information, one thing I really appreciate about you is that you continually promote YOUR products. I wish you would tell us success stories of those who used your products, but I like the idea of someone who really believes in THEIR product.
One of the best features of Clickbank – at least from the perspective of the end customer – is its sound refund policy. All vendors (and I do not believe there are any exceptions to this rule) must offer a 60 day money-back guarantee on any products they sell. Furthermore, this refund must be offered “no questions asked”.
I guess the ultimate lesson here is, as the Romans said, “caveat emptor” – let the buyer beware. And remember that if you are ever unsure about a product you’re thinking of buying that is sold through Clickbank, I will be happy to help you determine whether it is actually good or not … and suggest a suitable alternative if it’s not worth a buy.
I’m sure you’ve seen the ads on Face Book all about making huge amounts of money almost instantly. Affiliate marketing is rife with dishonesty and crappy products. From claiming to cure diabetes, tinnitus you name it, all unproved, yet Click Bank racks them in by the thousands.
I must say after 3 years of learning, am I a millionaire? Heck no…Far from it. Do I make an extra $150/week online? Sure do. Would I love to break into the $1,000/week category so I wouldnt have to work anymore? Sure would. But it all takes patience and practice.

2014 was the first year we tried to make some money off the platform and we ended making $37,075 off it without trying very hard (ClickBank has always been considered as a secondary monetization method, so far, for our businesses).
